Re: Dyana Osegueda / London, Spring 2014

It is my real pleasure to recommend Dyana for your study abroad program. Dyana took Art110 from me in Spring 2012 and finished Number One in the course. Then she came back as an Independent Study student in Art History 495 to work on projects and help with Art110. Her intelligence, outgoing personality, and willingness to help people and interact have been outstanding assets to her as a student and to the students she has helped here at CSULB.

Dyana is a first generation American. Her parents left everything when they emigrated from El Salvador to come to the United States to try to give Dyana a better life. Now Dyana looks to represent CSULB and this country in Europe. I’m excited both for all the experience and growth for Dyana, and also for having someone so motivated, dedicated, mature, and inspired represent our university abroad.

Dyana has my highest recommendation. I think she will be completely able to participate in the full range of academic and other experiences in London and to profit from them. I am confident we will be well represented by her.

Please contact me for any further questions about Dyana Osegueda’s qualifications.
